Tongue Creek Ranch is beautifully situated at the base of the Adobe Buttes on the southern side of the Grand Mesa in Austin, Colorado. The 70-acre ranch has just over 40 acres in hay and alfalfa with seasonal cattle grazing in the fall and winter months. Whether you come to stay at one of the rental properties, board your horses, get married or host a special event, we welcome you to enjoy the beautiful setting of Tongue Creek Ranch and the incredible sites of the Western Slope!

Need a place to get away from it all? Check out the Tongue Creek Ranch vacation rental properties through Airbnb and VRBO. We quickly earned a 5-Star rating by offering our guests a unique farm-feel experience, complete with a petting zoo of chickens and goats. Stop by and say hello to one of the many horses and our miniature mule during your stay. All of our pets love the attention, especially Annie Oakley, the resident border collie.

Stables and Hay

Do you need a place to board your horse or buy some hay? Lucky for you, we lease our stalls to some local horse owners where we help care for these beautiful residents of Tongue Creek Ranch! Tongue Creek Ranch has six corrals that can house up to 26 horses. The eight corrals all range from $135/mo - $200/mo depending on stalls, runs, shade and grazing, pole barns and size. We also have a 68' round pen and a 250'x 180' riding arena that can be used by our clients. We even sell our hay on site for your convenience!

David and Barb

David and Barb Cocetti purchased the ranch in June 2019 to embark on a new life where they could cultivate the land and be more self-sustaining. By following Biblical guidelines for work and agriculture, this land has come to life! It is proving to be an oasis where people find peace while enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. The couple spent the majority of their lives in Castle Rock, Colorado, where they raised their two children Tanisha and A.J.  David is a retired firefighter from South Metro Fire Rescue who finds endless projects for his creative energy. His hard work has made Tongue Creek Ranch a comfortable home-away-from-home for all the guests. Barb works as the registrar for Delta High School (Go Panthers!) but is still the hostess of the on-site Airbnb/VRBO rentals as well as a wedding and event planner for the property. Together they manage Tongue Creek Ranch to ensure everyone leaves feeling blessed with a unique experience.
