Bring your animals, board your horse in our stables, enjoy the beauty and privacy of the ranch—take strolls through the hayfields, explore the scenic trails, and meet our friendly horses, goats, chickens, and seasonal cattle along the way.

Your kids will have plenty of space to run on the grass, play on the new playground, have lunch in a gazebo, or gather around a campfire as the stars emerge after a stunning Colorado sunset. There’s something for everyone at Tongue Creek Ranch. Plus, we’re zoned for the excellent Cedaredge Schools in District #2, and we provide free internet, trash service, and water.

Adventure is Waiting!

There is so much adventure to be found on the Western Slope of Colorado. We’re just a scenic 30-minute drive from the Grand Mesa Visitor Center and an hour from Powderhorn Ski Resort, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and the Colorado National Monument. In just over an hour, you can reach Ouray, Colorado, known as the "Switzerland of America." Along the way, you’ll discover lakes, trails, rivers, and parks to explore.

The Western Slope is home to a vibrant array of local wineries, meaderies, and breweries. Meet our talented vintners and explore the many fruit and vegetable farms that make our produce stands a must-visit. Discover farm-to-table restaurants and savor local wines in nearby towns. The Bungalow

Our most popular property is a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath Bungalow, featuring a cozy country kitchen equipped with all the dishes, utensils, and cookware you’ll need. The kitchen also includes a full-size washer and dryer, perfect for easy laundry after a day of hiking or fishing. Both bedrooms offer comfortable queen-size beds with all bedding provided, while the living room features a pull-out couch, TV, chair, and an electric fireplace for a relaxing evening in.

Step out onto the spacious back patio to grill or unwind under the stars. The property also includes a fenced backyard, perfect for dogs. The bathroom offers a bathtub/shower combination, toilet, and sink with a vanity.

The front porch invites you to sit on the rocking bench, where you can watch hummingbirds with the Grand Mesa as a backdrop. Just beyond the porch, a fire pit awaits for roasting s’mores, singing campfire songs, or stargazing on a clear Colorado night. Kids will love the playset in the large adjoining yard.

The Bungalow rents for $2,200 per month, with gas and electric as the tenant's responsibility. Trash pick up, internet and water are included.

The Studio Apartment

The private Studio Apartment is perfect for a single person or couple. It features a comfortable king-sized bed that maximizes space in this cozy studio. The apartment includes a work desk and chair, a high-top table for four, and a well-equipped kitchenette with all the essentials: cookware, a refrigerator, hot plate, microwave, toaster, and toaster oven. The spacious bathroom offers a deep sink with a vanity, a toilet, and a shower.

Situated right beside the horse corrals, the Studio Apartment provides an authentic ranch experience. You might even catch a glimpse of cattle being herded past the front patio during the fall and winter months. Outside, there’s a grill, picnic table, and bench where you can relax, watch the horses, and enjoy the stunning view of the Grand Mesa.

The Studio Apartment rents for $1,200 per month, with the electric bill as the tenant’s responsibility. Internet, trash pick up and water are included.

Glamping Cabin

This charming Glamping Cabin offers a cozy 10'x14' space with a 14'x3' covered deck, perfect for your visiting family while you’re staying at the ranch. Consider it your guest room or overflow room.

Rustically decorated with a fishing theme, it’s designed to inspire guests to explore the Grand Mesa’s 300+ lakes. The cabin is ideal for couples or solo adventurers who love the outdoors, featuring a comfortable queen-sized bed and a wood-burning stove for chilly winter nights.

Many of our newlywed couples have used this cute cabin as the honeymoon suit. Two couples have come back for their one year anniversary.

From the front porch, you can watch riders in the nearby horse arena. A gazebo and fire pit are also close by, perfect for picnics and gathering with loved ones.

The Loft

The Loft offers the best views on the property and is beautifully adorned with Western décor. This spacious one-bedroom unit (queen bed) also features a cozy kids’ nook with a single bed and a queen-sized Murphy bed in the living room, comfortably accommodating up to five guests. The Loft includes a full kitchen equipped with all the essentials: cooking utensils, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and refrigerator/freezer. The kitchen opens to a living and dining area, complete with a comfortable high-top dining table for four and a countertop eating space with two chairs. The Loft's vaulted ceilings and propane fireplace add warmth and charm to the space.

Step out onto the deck off the dining area to take in breathtaking views of the Grand Mesa and stunning sunsets over the Adobe Buttes. The deck, overlooking the horse corrals, provides a peaceful and scenic setting. The bedroom also features a smaller deck facing east, perfect for soaking in the morning sunshine.

This popular ranch property rents for $1,700 per month. Renters are responsible for electric and gas, while internet, trash pick up and water are included.
